Chatting About Economics & Democracy
Through Everyday Scenarios

The Let's Chat Books series is an illustrated collection of familiar stories introducing basic principles. These books provide a framework for elementary-age children and their parents, grandparents and teachers to discuss important topics and create a foundation for lifelong conversations.

Let's Chat About Economics introduces more than two dozen economic principles through everyday stories including a trip to the grocery store, planning a family vacation and having a yard sale. From an early age, children can learn to use supply and demand and other economic principles when choosing how to spend their time or money.

Let’s Chat About Democracy is an enthusiastic and patriotic story infused with more than 30 terms for both children and adults beginning with Memorial Day and ending on Independence Day. Develop a deeper appreciation and understanding for our country's democratic government in a treehouse adventure where friends explore monarchy, anarchy, dictatorship and communism only to find that these options lack freedom and choice.
